We believe in documenting the whole story - details, emotions, and everything in between. We deliver the edited "good ones" in a digital gallery for you to download and print as you please! We specify minimum amounts on our packages, but it often more than the minimum amount. The digital gallery for family sessions is available for 4 weeks, for weddings available for a year. It is intended to operate as a delivery system (think, old school CD/thumb drive), so we recommend downloading the entire gallery to a file on your computer, and then saving them to your own external hard drive!

I (Mary Beth) started shooting professionally in 2016! Chris started a couple of years later. We love working together, either shooting photography as first and second shooters, or shooting photo and video together.

We professionally process each image from scratch! The color grading is our own, and has come from years of learning the ins and outs of photoshop. We also do minimal spot correction (blemish removal, teeth whitening etc.).

Our family session turnaround time is between 2-4 weeks depending on how busy our current season is, and wedding galleries are delivered at around the 3 month mark! Full Wedding films are delivered around the 4 month mark!

We are happy to weigh in! Lighting is such a huge part of what makes a beautiful image, so it is always a good idea to ask your wedding photographer about the lighting and scheduling of your day. We also offer free wardrobe consultations for every family session we do!

There are times of the year we are open for last minute sessions - so never hesitate to reach out! If you are wanting a fall date, we are usually completely booked for the fall by the end of the summer. The most important element is the light, but the second most important is wardrobe choices! Send us an e-mail and we'd be happy to help with piecing together your session outfits!

We always shoot a combination of posed and documentary. I affectionately call the posed images "grandma photos" because it's the sort of picture grandma would prefer to hang on her fridge. For the rest of the session we will help with a series of prompts and suggestions that facilitate playful interaction, and authentic smiles.

You've heard people say when having their picture taken "I need someone to make me laugh!" I believe that is part of the photographers job - to be the person who helps you to laugh.

We are not "dark and moody" or "light and airy." I would describe my editing style as being warm and rich. The most important thing to me is to shoot in a way that draws the viewers eye to the subject. I often choose settings that do this naturally. Greens are another thing that I am particular about. If you are in a field of grass in the spring, it is easy for the brightness of the green to take the attention off the subject. I always edit my greens in a way that will still be green, without distracting from you!

For weddings, we incorporate the same philosophy. To properly document a wedding day, it needs to be a combination of posed and prompted documentary. Much of what we do is making sure you are positioned in the best light, so that the posed and documentary happens in a well lit spot.

We currently are shooting with four Canon R5's, and in our kit we have two 70-200's, two 50's, two 24-70's, Macro 100, 85, 16-35 and a 35.

There are lots of different viewpoints on this. Some photographers wear what the wedding guests might be wearing, others choose to wear all black. Chris and I usually wear black, because it hides dirt (and let's be real, sweat, because we work really hard on wedding days). I try to wear a dress that would potentially match the dress worn to a wedding, and comfortable shoes (usually leather sandals, loafers or boots).

Most truly professional photographers shoot in RAW and Manual Mode. That means we have full creative control over your image, once we get it into Photoshop! Chris and I both shoot in RAW and Manuel Mode.

I am mostly NOT asked this question, but it comes up on occasion! RAW files can't be opened with a normal computer. You need special software to open and edit a RAW file. They are also massive, because then they are more manipulatable in your editing system. Most people don't actually want the RAW file, because there's not much they can do with it, it doesn't look pretty pre-edit, and it takes up too much storage space (I have lots of 5-10 Terabyte external hard drives to keep up with it all).
