How many photos do we get?
We believe in documenting the whole story - details, emotions, and everything in between. We deliver the edited "good ones" in a digital gallery for you to download and print as you please! We specify minimum amounts on our packages, but it often more than the minimum amount. The digital gallery for family sessions is available for 4 weeks, for weddings available for a year. It is intended to operate as a delivery system (think, old school CD/thumb drive), so we recommend downloading the entire gallery to a file on your computer, and then saving them to your own external hard drive!
How long have you been doing this?
I (Mary Beth) started shooting professionally in 2016! Chris started a couple of years later. We love working together, either shooting photography as first and second shooters, or shooting photo and video together.
Do you Travel?
We do! Feel free to email is, and we'd be happy to give travel pricing information! We have traveled to Coastal Georgia, North Georgia Mountains, and Colorado for weddings this last year. We also are happy to travel within Georgia for family sessions as well!
How do we get our photos?
The photos are delivered in a digital gallery for you to download and print as you please!
Do you retouch photos?
We professionally process each image from scratch! The color grading is our own, and has come from years of learning the ins and outs of photoshop. We also do minimal spot correction (blemish removal, teeth whitening etc.).
Whats your turn around time?
Our family session turnaround time is between 2-4 weeks depending on how busy our current season is, and wedding galleries are delivered between 4-8 weeks! Full Wedding films are usually delivered between 3-4 months (with lots of teasers to tie you over).
How do we book you?
Send us an e-mail (marybethwoodphotography@gmail.com), or fill out our contact form! You will usually be chatting with me (Mary Beth)! Once we figure out the direction you'd like to go, I'll send a contract and deposit invoice, once the contract and deposit invoice are complete, your session is officially booked!
Can you help us with planning?
We are happy to weigh in! Lighting is such a huge part of what makes a beautiful image, so it is always a good idea to ask your wedding photographer about the lighting and scheduling of your day. We also offer free wardrobe consultations for every family session we do!
How far out do you book?
There are times of the year we are open for last minute sessions - so never hesitate to reach out! If you are wanting a fall date, we are usually completely booked for the fall by the end of the summer. We do mini sessions for fall and Christmas - sign-ups for minis usually book up within minutes, so keep an eye on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/marybethwoodphotography) page for updates!
What should we wear?
The most important element is the light, but the second most important is wardrobe choices! Send us an e-mail and we'd be happy to help with piecing together your session outfits!
Travel
Available for hire in Middle Georgia and beyond. Previous travels include, Colorado, Coastal Georgia, North Georgia Mountains, Coastal Florida.
